Digital sculpt I created in ZBrush, exploring a fusion of skeletal, reptilian, and humanoid elements to design a haunting, otherworldly creature. I started by blocking out the basic forms using Dynamesh, focusing on the silhouette and proportions. From there, I refined the anatomy, incorporating exposed ribs, elongated limbs, and a sinewy tail to give it a grotesque yet organic feel.
For details, I used a mix of custom brushes and alphas to add texture to the bone and skin, creating a sense of decay and age. The flowing, tattered cloth-like structures were sculpted using the Move and Cloth brushes to enhance the eerie, ghostly aesthetic. This stage was about balancing rigid skeletal elements with soft, draping forms.
At this point, I’m still refining some areas, experimenting with silhouette and texture to enhance the final look before posing and rendering.
